Memorial Day

June 4, 2016 - Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Michaela Lemelin

I will be serving as a Medium for this fundraiser on June 4th.    Come by and support Michaela.

It is a great day to come to the LD Coordinators Meeting and then come for a Spaghetti meal after.

There will be prizes like a reading with Lisa Williams, theme baskets and other unique prizes as well as a 50/50 raffle.

All proceeds to be given to Michaela.

What is the difference between Memorial, Armed Forces and Veteran's Day?

Just a reminder that this Monday is Memorial Day - often confused with Veterans Day - but sadly so different.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

Many Americans celebrate Armed Forces Day annually on the third Saturday of May. It is a day to pay tribute to men and women who serve the United States' armed forces. Armed Forces Day is also part of Armed Forces Week, which begins on the second Saturday of May.

Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces.

First Spiritualist Church of Erie - Speaker July 10,2016

I am looking forward to speaking again at the First Spiritualist Church of Erie in July.   This church is full of positive loving energy.   It is a pleasure to visit and each time I leave this Church I am lifted higher than when I arrived.

After church on this day is their Medium Sunday and I will be giving mini readings as well.   Hopefully I will bring a few friends with me.

Every second Sunday of each month is Medium Sunday at the First Spiritualist Church of Erie. Services start at 11:00 a.m. Come early for fellowship, coffee and donuts!

Mini readings are $7 and *​​pot luck dinner is $3. Readings are about 15 minutes each. Please bring a dish to pass.

Being Patient is not easy!

Trust me, I understand.  One of the hardest things in life is to be patient during the storm. 

A reoccurring theme lately for me is PATIENCE.  The definition is simple:

Patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance/anger; or exhibiting forbearance ... Wikipedia

Today, breathe in positive, exhale negative. Trust that the Universe is working on your prayers and they will come to you when the time is right.  Perhaps not on your time table, but never the less just in the moment you need it.

I challenge you to remember that it is none of our business what other people think.  They are simply disliking your capabilities that they are lacking in.

I am confident you are looking at this and thinking to yourself "it is a lot easier to say than do".  I am here to say - I have been there and I understand.

What do you let go of first?   The anger, the disappointment?  People that are bringing negativity into your life?  Or is it something even more significant?

Only you can answer it.  I am just here to say by doing so, you open up space for the Universe to replace it with something more beautiful and wonderful -- FOR YOU.  By hanging on to the old there is no room for the new.

It is okay, let go - breathe and believe in the new coming your way.

Tonawanda Castle Psychic Fair - August 7, 2016

I am excited about working this event!    I am honored to be doing a Gallery Reading with my friend Colleen Kulikowski in addition to doing private readings.

The Tonawanda Castle Psychic Fair is an opportunity for the public to meet and have personal readings done by some of the areas best psychics and Mediums. Being held August 7th at the Tonawanda Castle on 69 Delaware Road from 11am – 6pm.

Thank you for an awesome day in Depew at The Grapevine Psychic Fair

I just got home after a beautiful day of serving Spirit in Depew at the Grapevine Psychic Fair.  

I got to spend some time with some great friends, give some great messages and work with a group of enthusiastic volunteers that made do so a blessing.

To everyone over at P. I. T. Society -- Thanks for a great day....   I look forward to the next event at the Tonawanda Castle on August 7th!   I will be doing a Gallery Reading with Colleen Kulikowski as well as doing private readings throughout the day.   These sessions are fast paced and a lot of fun.  

Keep Open to the possibilities!

Keeping open to what the Universe has in store for you is not an easy task.  It take patience and a willingness to see the beauty in every little thing in life. 

That you have opportunity to be great. 

Greater than you can imagine.  It just means that you have some faith that the opportunities will be there. 

Young children do this naturally, it is as we get older that we loose this ability.  So today, become that inner child and wonder and dream. Hope and Believe!

Focus on what you are good at.  Keep doing it even if others feel it isn't good enough.   You are an amazing human and you have many gifts to give the world.  Don't forget that!

Serving Spirit and your Spiritual Growth

Mercury is in Retrograde.  It is a good time to sit back and reflect and review thing.  Pay attention to what is coming up and work on those issues.

Over the years I have seen so many who for one reason or another fail to believe in themselves.  That the only thing holding them back is their thinking.

Sometimes this thinking has been so deeply programmed into their head that they don't even know it is there.  They allow fear and doubt stop them from doing the one thing that will set them free.

If you think this may apply to you, remember you have the power within you to change things.   Start little, surround yourself with people that love and support you.   Start believing that you can -- and YOU WILL!

Respecting Others Beliefs

I have been around a few years.   I have learned a few things along the way.   I don't always agree with everyone.  I am known to be a little opinionated.  I say my peace.  

Respecting others beliefs is important.   I have learned the Universe does not revolve around me.   There are a few people are in for a surprise when they discover that truth.

Over the years I have met many people in my travels.   Those that are the hard core religious types that cannot respect someone else's beliefs are the most difficult to get along with.  

Spiritual people, the truly Spiritual that is, can accept that there are other ways of thinking.   They may not agree with it, but they respect the other persons beliefs and move on with their daily lives.

You see folks, there is room for more than one way of thinking.   If we all practiced RESPECT a little more, we may all be a lot happier.  Each of us have different paths along the way.  These paths intersect and cross as we grow.   One of the hardest lessons people have to learn is the Universe does not revolve around oneself.

Serving Spirit the first part of 2016

Over the past few months I have been serving Spirit at a variety of places.  Several trips to Erie, PA have introduced me to a beautiful group of Spiritualists at the First Spiritualist Church in Erie.  I have also been serving at the Healing Temple in Lily Dale on Wednesday nights.

There is no head of the table in Spirituality

We all sit at the table as Spiritualists.   Why do you think that so many churches rotate who runs the program and why they have different speakers each week?

Simply put it is because this is a shared experience.    We are always learning and growing.  It is when a community stops that process or rejects the shared concept and wants it to be more lead by any one person that a problem exists.  

Each person defines their relationship with God.  Their connection is direct.   We as Spiritualists have a direct connection and we do not need a middleman (or Religion) to define it for us and explain it to us.  

Spiritualism is a way of life.  The minute we start forming it in a way that is an organized Religion with dogma we begin to lose our way.
