April 6, 2016 - Healing Chairperson - Lily Dale Healing & Message Service

Each Wednesday night at the Lily Dale Assembly is a Healing and Message Service at the Healing Temple in Lily Dale.   This service is between 7:30pm - 8:30pm.

 

The sponsorship of this event is rotated between the four churches (Church of the Living Spirit, City of Light Spiritualist Church, Fellowships of the Spirit & Lily Dale Spiritualist Church) and the Month of April it is the City of Light Church's turn to host this warm and inviting event.

 

Come join myself and others that gather to serve Spirit by providing healing or giving messages.   Of course Margaret Ferris will lead us with the music.

Signs of Spring

Spring is beginning to show itself in my yard.  This is that time that I no longer have to plow my driveway and it is too early to start cutting the grass.

It was a good day!

I have a lot to be thankful for.   It was a very good day! Finally getting over the bug that took me down and back to my routine. 

The day started with speaking at Light of Truth Church in Williamsville.   I spoke about the Irish holiday of St. Patrick's Day, we celebrated the first day of Spring and I was able to share a series of Irish blessings and stories.  My objective was to make people smile and I was successful at doing so.

Ellen Bourn has created a warm and welcoming church.  It is always a pleasure to serve there.  My friend Colleen Kulikowski shared the giving messages with me.  It is fun to see her grow in her mediumship and it is an honor to be a mentor to her.

We both left Ellen's church and headed to Lily Dale to support the Fire Department's St. Patrick's day celebration.  To continue the Irish celebrations and eat Corned Beef and Cabbage!  

I leave you today with the Irish Blessing I left people with in Williamsville:

May the blessings of light be upon you - light on the outside and light on the inside.

With God's sunlight shining on you, may your heart glow with the warmth of a turf fire that welcomes friends and strangers alike.

May the light of the Lord shine from your eyes like a candle in the window, welcoming the weary traveler. 

May the blessing of God's soft rain be upon you, falling gently on your head, refreshing your soul with the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming.

May the strength of winds of heaven bless you, carrying the rain to wash your Spirit clean, sparkling after in the sunlight. 

May the blessing of God's earth be upon and as you walk the roads, may you always have a kind word for those you meet.

May you understand the strength and power of God in a thunderstorm in winter and the quiet beauty of creation and the calm of the summer sunset.

May you come to realize that as insignificant as you may feel in this great universe you are an important part of God's plan.

May he watch over you and keep you safe from harm.  





One of the Greatest Joys -- Being A Mentor

So often in this Spiritual community we see EGO take over people.  I see it every day.   The fact that people who serve think they are more important than the service they provide.

Recently I have taken the role of Mentor to several wonderful people.  They had been mentored by others that found their abilities a threat to their own.   These mentors some how forgetting that we are all one.  What one achieves, we all achieve.  

Each person I have mentored is special in their own right.  Each face challenges in their development that I have been able to help them remove the obstacles. Obstacles placed in front of them because someone else was threatened by their gift.  As if they will lose something by allowing the other to shine.

Over the years I have seen several of those that I have mentored be Ordained by Rev. Dan Chesbro.  They all serve Spirit. 

Spirit brought them to me because early on I experienced such resistance.  Spirit knows I will relish in their advancements.   I challenge all those who are perusing Spirituality to not forget and help each other along the way.   Serve Spirit with love.  Remember at one time we are a student, another we are a teacher.

Thank You Bolts of Love....

Last night it was my honor to speak at Bolts of Love in Erie PA.   There were a few of us that were not out celebrating the luck of the Irish.

 

I talk a lot about loving yourself.   Last night I spoke of intention and how my life has been affected by Angels.  

 

Right now, I just want to thank everyone that choose to see me on St. Patrick's day.   May you al have a beautiful remainder of the week and be inspired to help others.

Patience isn't always easy... Have Faith!

On Saturday I was blessed to be able to serve Spirit at the Spring Spiritual Appreciation Expo in Erie, PA for the United Christian Spiritualist Church.

 

It was a great day where many had the opportunity to connect with loved ones, show the various vendors and I even picked up a box of Girl Scout cookies...
